Is your child lonely? Does she feel different than everyone else? Perhaps he thinks he doesn't belong?
By using the questions at the end of the book, you can start to create a "safe space" for your child to vocalize how she feels. Is anyone mean to him, like the boys who threw sand at George? Is she fitting in on the team?
Most importantly - did he find the teddy bears in all the pictures?

Carolyn is the author of two books about Angels and Saints. To My Boy Baby is her first children's book, and is based on her experience not only of growing up with an adopted sibling but also observing the challenges and rewards the adoption brought to family and friends. It is her hope that the book will help to bring families and young children closer together and start a life-long conversation.
